Save the Children Senior Specialist - Business Analysis Jobs in Kenya;We are seeking a Senior Specialist – Business Analysis to lead requirements engineering, business process definition, and optimisation, ensuring delivery of optimal business capabilities aligned with SCI’s strategic goals.
Responsibilities
Take the lead in completing all required analysis work to define current and future state requirements
Deliver optimal business capabilities model reflecting future capabilities needed to achieve strategic goals
Define business processes and manage business process re‑engineering/optimisation
Document and act as subject matter expert on business processes to facilitate cross‑functional collaboration and knowledge sharing
Work within project teams to deliver incremental business value to users
Identify potential conflicting business and data requirements, definition gaps, and dependencies between projects, escalating to project lead for resolution
Support prioritisation of design requirements with informed understanding of organisational impact
Maintain accurate, version‑controlled documentation over the project lifecycle and ensure knowledge dissemination
Contribute to ongoing development and maintenance of Business Architecture and Business Analysis methodology, processes, and templates
Integrate best practice business processes into the organisation’s process inventory in alignment with policies, procedures, and controls
Partner with business and technology stakeholders to elicit, analyse, translate, and document people, processes, data, and platform requirements
Experience and Skills – Essential
Significant experience in discovering and documenting business requirements and designing test cases with test engineers
Significant experience in modelling business processes and translating them into system requirements
Significant experience in analysing data, drawing actionable insights, and problem‑solving using analytical techniques
Significant experience with business analysis tools and methodologies such as UML,
BPMN, and SDLC frameworks
Significant experience collaborating effectively with cross‑functional teams including solutions architecture and test engineering
Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with team members, stakeholders, and partners
Experience engaging diverse stakeholders to understand needs and constraints
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to articulate complex concepts clearly
Proven experience facilitating productive workshops, preferably in multi‑cultural contexts
Proficient in conflict resolution techniques to mediate stakeholder disagreements and ensure project continuity
Ability to effectively prioritise work and agree priorities with relevant leaders
Cultural awareness and experience delivering solutions internationally
Experience and Skills – Desirable
Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., JIRA, PlanView) and office suites (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Education and Qualifications – Essential
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
Understanding of structured Project methodology (e.g., PRINCE2) or accredited Project Management training (APM or PMI)
Education and Qualifications – Desirable
Non‑profit sector knowledge/experience, especially international development projects
Second language – French, Spanish, or Arabic
