Job Description

The Opportunity

Role Purpose

The post holder will be tasked with facilitating, monitoring, supervising and coordinating smooth operations which include stock management and Hygiene and sanitation management.

The post holder will also be responsible for ensuring proper Reporting, and coordination, Monitoring supervision with various departments including education , child protection programs and other support units.

Key Areas of Accountability:

  • Daily, weekly and monthly Reporting of SFP.

  • Day to day management OF stock movements.

  • monitoring supervising and ensure SFP SOP guide line are used accordingly for CSB++ when cooking and serving for the ECCE Student.

  • Supervising Monitoring of kitchen, cooks, dinner hall, toilets, garbage pitch hygiene and sanitation situation better health.

  • Timely reporting any gaps, including stock out of commodities before one week ahead. .

  • Regular updating of day to day situations of the feeding.

  • Is kitchen clean and the floors dry at all time

  • Daily supervision on the cooks cover hair? Keep the nails short, and use overcoat or special cloths every time they are at the kitchen or preparing porridge.

  • ensure hand washing at the kitchen, dining room, and toilets full of water, with soap

  • monitor cooker to meet the standard of hygiene when mixing the preparing porridge?

  • Ensure the cookers use the standard guide line when cooking the porridge (use look up table)

  • supervising cooker and cleaner how they are using the soap when washing the materials?

  • Ensure all cooks have medical evaluation/certificate for every 6 months?

  • Ensure to dispose all waste food and garbage in Appropriately Place.

  • Perform weekly checks on the store balance using sock out stock in movements document way-bill and hand overing note for any difference report to Education officer or the team leader and updated the SFP Officer/coordinator any available supervisor.

  • Ensure effective management of the cooks, cleaners and the camp supervisors making sure that their weekly tasks are achieved.
  • Conduct regular meetings with all the subordinate
    staff’s cooks, and cleaners in order to contribute high standard for hygiene and sanitation.

    Job Requirements

    In order to be successful you will bring/have:

    Qualifications and Experience

  • Diploma/BA Degree in Heath, management and any related field.
  • 3 years’ experience for BA Degree and 5 years’ experience for Diploma holders in the area of Health and Nutrition, preferably practical combined experience of Health and managements.
  • Work experience in INGO experience is an asset.
  • Good command of English Language
  • Computer literate with proficiency in basic office software MS Excel, Ms word
  • Cultural and gender sensitivity
