Save the Children has been operational in Kenya since the 1950s, providing support to children through developmental and humanitarian relief programmes delivered both directly and through local partners.



Current programming focuses on child protection, child rights governance, education, health, HIV/AIDS, livelihoods, nutrition and WASH.


In 2012, as part of a global reorganization process, Save the Children combined the programmes of SC UK, SC Canada and SC Finland to create a single operation in Kenya.


In February 2014, we completed a second transition, which saw us join forces with the British INGO, Merlin, and merge their health and nutrition programmes with our own.


Save the Children now has an operational presence in Bungoma, Dadaab Refugee Camp, Garissa, Mandera, Nairobi, Turkana and Wajir. We work through partners in many other parts of the country.


We have a staff complement of around 300 staff and an operating annual budget of approximately US$16 million in 2018.


Role Purpose: A member of the Applications Support Services team, reporting into the (Global Applications Team Leader) will:- Be a Source to Pay system champion and ambassador.


Provide first line user (functional) support to users of the Source to Pay system. Be one of the System Administrators for the Source to Pay system.


Be one of the Catalogue Content Administrators for the Source to Pay system. Optimise the user experience by providing user support - on demand and pro-actively, Configure, monitor and maintain the Source to Pay system - ensuring optimal system readiness, performance and capability.


Qualifications

Essentials

  • Customer Service /Customer Focus orientation and capability
  • Systems technical configuration and/or system support experience
  • Experience in interacting with end users and other stakeholders
  • Experience of providing technical support of S2P applications at any
    level
  • Ability to quickly understand technology, system processes, and tocommunicate it to non-technical staff
  • Strong written communications skills, excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills
  • Can-do attitude and proven track record of successful troubleshooting and problem solving
    English - verbal and written (fluent)


    Desirable:


  • Understanding of SAP Ariba
  • Experience of supporting system reporting tools and data extracts
  • Understanding of configuration workbook maintenance and change control
  • Fluency in French or Spanish.
