Save the Children HRIS Implementation and Support System Administrator Jobs

As a member of the global HR team and reporting into the Global HRIS Systems Manager, the post-holder will be one of a team of System Administrators who will will develop deep understanding of the end-to-end system functionality of a new global Oracle Human Capital Management (HCM) Cloud solution, including Taleo.



The post-holder will also configure and validate system localizations for Save the Children Association within Oracle HCM Cloud and Taleo, by gathering localisations. In parallel, and after all country, localizations are complete; he/she will work as part of a team providing level 2 support to end users and HR super users around Oracle HCM Cloud and Taleo.


In addition, while Oracle is being phased in, the post-holder will also provide BAU support to users of our legacy HRIS, Effective Staff and other HR systems.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with stakeholders and partner with HR staff and regional change managers globally to assist them to use Oracle HCM Cloud and Taleo, and, while Oracle is being phased in, provide BAU support to users of our legacy HRIS, Effective Staff
  • Running localisation workshops to demonstrate the new system.
  • Gathering requirements from country offices, assessing against global design and system parameters.
  • Documenting requirements and presenting any changes to Core Design Group for decision.
  • Building technical configuration in the system to reflect the local requirements, agreed with the Country Office.
  • Executing system testing/regression testing to ensure configuration built reflects the requirements provided.
  • Support UAT for country offices – resolving configuration defects and answer system and process queries with the testers.
  • Executing data migration pre-checking and loading activities and communicating to countries errors that need to be resolved.
  • Providing ongoing support after implementation to country users, resolving both business and technical issues– escalating issues to Oracle, where needed.
  • Ongoing execution of upgrade and patch assessment and regression testing.
  • Work closely with the team of implementation and support administrators, systems manager, project lead, process leads and change and deployment and country teams to ensure that delivery activities are all aligned.


    Be part of a team that provides support for global users in SCI.


  • As part of a support team, log in the appropriate IT systems and manage to resolution all assigned level 2 related support tickets within the appropriate SLA
  • Provide global functional and technical support to level 2 to end users and HR admins
  • Escalate unresolved support tickets to vendor using standard defined process
  • While Oracle is being phased in, provide BAU support to HR users
    of our legacy HRIS, Effective Staff and other HR systems

    Qualifications


  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science (or equivalent by experience)
  • Previous technical configuration and/or system support experience
  • Experience in interacting with end users and other stakeholders
  • Experience of providing technical support of HR applications at any level
  • Ability to quickly understand technology, system processes, and tocommunicate it to non-technical staff
  • Strong written communications skills, excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills
  • Can-do attitude and proven track record of successful troubleshooting and problem solving
  • Understanding of Oracle HCM Cloud and Taleo
  • Experience of supporting system reporting tools and data extracts
  • Understanding of configuration workbook maintenance and change control
  • Fluency in Spanish

    Additional job responsibilities:

  • Since the role involves support to end users across different time zones, it may be necessary from time to time to work outside normal office hours (this may be compensated by time off in lieu where appropriate.
  • Depending on the location of these roles, there may be a need to travel occasionally outside the usual job location in order to provide additional support or coaching to HR end users.
