Save the Children International is currently recruiting Education Consortium Coordinators to be based at the Fort Portal and Arua Field Offices.

Save the Children leads the Uganda NGO Education Consortium, an innovative model for programming education in emergencies. The objective of the Education Consortium is to coordinate and harmonise NGO support to the Education Response Plan for Refugees and Host Communities.

The Education Consortium manages and coordinates two large education in emergencies grants: i) Education Cannot Wait - $10.5 million per year over 3 years; ii) ECHO INCLUDE – 12 million Euros over 3 years. Save the Children is looking for two field-based Programme Coordinators to oversee the field level coordination of partners, ensure the programme is on track and meets targets, and manage the relationships with district level stakeholders.

One position will be based in West Nile (Arua) and one in Western Uganda (Fort Portal). Both positions will have frequent travel to refugee hosting districts and Kampala for meetings and coordination.
