Save the Children Children Gender Research Graphic Illustration Consultancy

Scope of Work

Save the Children’s Regional Programming Unit, Protecting Children Affected by Armed Conflict in Sub Saharan Africa Programme requires the provision of services for graphics art to turn research data collected from children (through body mapping and community mapping) during the Gender Research Analysis into child friendly graphic visuals.

Development of graphic illustrations (art/visuals) of research data collected from children (estimate pages 12-14 pages full-colour booklet).

Approved concept and text provided (example of what is desired attached as Annex1)

Designs and presentation formats to be agreed on and approved by SCI

Final approved designs – to be ‘print-ready’ versions – for reprographics and eventual printing

Project Process

Design drafts to be submitted and reviewed by email and followed by feedback

Process to be fully completed, with all approvals and sign offs, from PCIC Advocacy,
Campaigns and Communication Coordinator and ESARO Communications and Media Team

You will submit a quotation that will include the details below

Brief profile – to include details of similar assignments carried out.

Financial proposal: Based on work plan and showing the total cost for assignment.

Competencies

Strong conceptual and artistic skills

Drawing, painting and digital drawing skills

Knowledge of image editng and design software

Portfolio of completed illustrations

Experience in graphic design and layout of documents/booklets.

Experience working in the non –profit sector is an advantage.
