Job Description

We are seeking for creative, driven, energetic and organized Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to assist in the advertising and selling of our company's products and services and to create competitive advantages for our company in the financial services industry

The manager's responsibilities include generating unique sales & distribution plans, creating engaging advertisements, developing pricing strategies, and meeting sales and marketing human resource objectives.

The Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) represents the company's brand and drives strategies to increase product awareness by observing the market, competitors, and industry trends.

This position is responsible for developing strategy and executing the strategy for increasing revenue and distribution footprint for our products and services in all appropriate markets such that we’re profitable and are competing at the same level of excellence as the established competitors in the sector.

Essential Duties, Responsibilities and Expectations:

Marketing Management

  • Researching and developing marketing opportunities and plans, understanding consumer requirements, identifying market trends, and suggesting system improvements to achieve the company's marketing goals.

  • Gathering, investigating, and summarizing market data and trends to draft reports.

  • Develop effective marketing to introduce and promote the company’s products and services.

  • Organize a calendar of marketing events, such as promotions, exhibitions, product launches, workshops, or similar activities

  • Coordinate with outside agencies, for example designers, to produce marketing material such as brand materials, POS and web pages

  • Assist with product selections, development and pricing strategies
    Work to enhance organization’s brand identity

  • Track and record project results and amend marketing measures

  • Help create customer loyalty programs

  • Plan, prepare and manage the publication and distribution of publicity materials

  • Research and analyze competitors to identify strength and weakness

  • Maintaining relationships with important clients by making regular visits, understanding their needs, and anticipating new marketing opportunities.

  • Position the company’s brand and products appropriately in the market. Each brand distributed by the company will have a specific role in the company’s portfolio of products. The manager must appropriately market each brand in a way that matches its unique role by taking into account brand positioning, brand value and the appropriate sales volume for each brand

  • Grow the popularity of the company’s products within designated trade channels

  • Present strong branding to drive growth in existing and new markets

    Sales and Distribution Management

  • Develop and implement effective sales
    and distribution strategies and models

  • Recruiting, training, scheduling, coaching, and managing sales and marketing teams to meet sales and marketing human resource objectives

  • Coordinate with partners to establish route to consumers that effectively utilizes the company’s resources to achieve the sales targets

  • Liaise with customers in a positive and effective way to keep customers happy

  • Solve problems for customers, inform them of new products, and ensure customers have a plentiful supply of products and much more

  • Ensuring the sales team is working effectively and generating sales

  • Development of monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual sales targets in terms of value and volume and management of both target and actual achievements

  • Work with regional sales teams to create sales plans for different regions and territories that align with the company’s and its partners objectives

  • Ensure the sales team is working effectively and generating sales

  • Monitor the profitability for each product within each trade channel. Based on that data, decide how company resources should be allocated

  • Manage budgets for the sales team and their activities, alongside distribution budgets

  • Development of distributor agents relationships and oversight of those relationships

  • Meet and coordinate with CEO on a regular basis

  • Collaborate with other team members

    Job Requirements

    Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business administration or related field

  • 5+ years previous experience in marketing, preferably in a Marketing Agency

  • Someone with an IT background

  • Excellent communication skills both orally and written

  • Adept multi-tasker with ability to quickly prioritize and organize

  • Proficient using Microsoft Suite and previous experience using other marketing software’s

  • Team player who collaborates with ease and contagious creative energy

  • Strategic vision and strong business acumen

  • Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills

  • Confident contributor who can accept and implement constructive feedback
