Samburu County Government Community Health Nurse Jobs in Kenya




Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional nursing care to Patients in accordance with Hospital Policies and Protocols.

  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by Physicians.

  • Monitor Patient progress and document observations accurately.

  • Educate Patients and Families about Health conditions, treatments, and preventive measures.

  • Maintain a safe and hygienic environment in Patient care areas.

  • Collaborate with other Healthcare Professionals to ensure comprehensive Patient care.

  • Handle emergency situations promptly and effectively.

  • Ensure compliance with infection prevention and control Standards.

  • Participate in continuous Professional Development and Training Sessions.

  • Contribute to the improvement of nursing care services through feedback and innovation.

    Requirements

  • Diploma in Nursing (KRCHN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing from a recognized Institution.

  • Valid Nursing Council of Kenya License.

  • At least 2 years of clinical experience in a Hospital setting.

  • Experience in specialized areas such as Maternity, Pediatrics, or Critical care will be an added advantage.
