Job Description

  • Salini Impregilo S.p.A, the EPC contractor of the Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam Project (GERDP), would like to invite qualified and experienced candidates for the following position;

    Job Requirements

  • MSc/BSc in Civil Engineering,

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience for MSc and 5 years for BSc,

  • A good skill in reading and interpreting the content of workshop drawings with a good capacity of critics,

  • Familiarity with the content of national and international norms (national / international) and always striving to achieve new knowledge through the readings of new documents and training,

  • To carry out inspections and check on different quality aspects during various stages of site activities as per approved inspection and to test plans inclusive inspections of materials successively used inside the permanent work (having familiarity in reading their characteristics declare inside relevant Quality Certificates and/or Declaration and technical data sheets),

  • A good power of observation and a good capacity of interacting with other people in a competitive environment (on production site and within the office) thus, having good quality of maintaining concentration on the target and showing patience/diplomacy to keep the conversation channel always open,

  • Computer literate with MS Word, Advanced Excel and Outlook,

  • Proficient in spoken and written English.
