Sales Team Leader Job in Nairobi, Kenya



Our client is an FMCG company and seeks to recruit a highly talented person for the role of Sales Team leader. The right candidate is someone with solid experience in sales and marketing within FMCG segment in a highly competitive market.

He/she will take charge of the team performance, marketing, mobilizing internal and external resources, and will have a strong passion in planning & executing sales programs and activities.


Responsibilities


  • Oversee the deployment and performance of sales reps
  • Be the custodian and drive sales targets.
  • Delegate tasks and set deadlines
    Set sales targets in conjunction with the sales manager and motivate the sales team
  • Lead monthly reporting of field activities
  • Oversee budget tracking, forecasting and inventory for the field teams, reconciling budgets on a monthly basis
  • Be constantly finding new, innovative ideas to maximize the sales
  • Be accountable for the performance of the assigned region.


    Requirements


  • 3-5 years’ experience in FMCG sales and marketing
  • 1-2 years managing and motivating direct reports
  • Exceptional organization and administrative skills, as well as the ability to multitask
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with proven ability to problem solve
  • An outgoing dynamic and results driven individual who can work well independently and in a team.
  • Leadership and Motivation Skills
  • Proficient in Excel
