SAIC Training Curriculum and Exercise Development Capacity Advisor Jobs in Uganda


SAIC is seeking a Training, Curriculum, and Exercise Development Capacity Advisor to support our GPOI missiion in Uganda.

Duties and responsibilities of the Training, Curriculum, and Exercise Development Capacity Advisor at PMTC include but are not limited to the following:

Senior in-country mentor dedicated to advising the UPDF trainers at the PMTC to improve the planning and delivery of their pre-deployment training.

Interface with the US Embassy, UPDF military leadership, US military, international partners and other stakeholders associated with UPDF’s pre-deployment training.

Work very closely with trainers conducting training activities supporting the African Peacekeeping Rapid Response Partnership (APRRP) at the PMTC.


Requirements


  • Completed U.S. or foreign equivalent MEL 4 (CGSC).
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Minimum of fifteen (15) years military operations and training experience cumulative with directly related experience in overseas program operations.
  • Experience as senior trainer to a foreign security partner with directly related experience in capacity building and unit-level assessments.
  • Experience in organizational development, conducting activities intended to drive institutional improvement and self-sufficient organizational change.
  • Experience in a U.S. or foreign military training and doctrine development organization, or permanent assignment to a U.S. or foreign military training school or combat training center.
  • Regional Experience in Sub-Saharan Africa
