  • We are pleased to announce the following vacancy for Specialist Revenue Assurance/Fraud Management within the Technology Function in Ethiopia. In keeping with our current business needs, we are looking for a person who meets the criteria indicated below.

    Detailed Description

  • Reporting to Senior Specialist Revenue Assurance/Fraud Management the role holder shall provide technical expertise in revenue assurance and fraud management solutions systems planning, software release management, capacity management, architecture design, development and evolution especially towards cloud & microservices, as well as articulating technical proposals for development and implementation for all Products & Services offered to customers with a goal of executing the IT strategy plan.

  • Revenue Assurance and Fraud Management will oversee systems that include, but not limited to consumer, enterprise and fintech products and services, CRM, Billing, Voucher Management, Provisioning, Subscription Management and Backup solutions.

    Job Responsibilities

  • Implement RAFM platform systems and services to safeguard the organization against any fraud services and ensure that there is no revenue leakage because of any products or services, new and existing.

  • Provide technical expertise in Service Assurance of IT Systems and Services and optimization of existing solutions in line with the IT strategy execution plan.

  • Provide technical expertise in Fraud Management within IT Systems and Services and optimization of existing solutions in line with the IT strategy execution plan and unmatched customer experience.

  • Actively participate and provide professional expertise in defining strategy, roadmaps, architecture design and evolution especially towards Cloud & Microservices or applicable technologies.

  • Drive
    implementation of solutions and integration to various network elements in line with industry standards and policies

  • Enhance processes and DevOps to improve delivery and increase efficiency by focusing on continuous improvement and optimization.

  • Receive escalated, technically complex mission-critical issues, and maintain ownership of the issue until it is resolved completely.

  • Hands-on to troubleshoot incidents, formulate theories and test hypothesis, and narrow down possibilities to find the root cause.

  • Develop tools, and scripts to automate troubleshooting activities.

    Job Requirements

    Qualifications

  • BSc. Degree in Telecommunication Engineering/ Electrical & Electronics engineering/Computer Science/IT.

  • 3 years’ experience a busy telecommunication/ IT environment or Software Engineering with good knowledge in planning for RAFM Solutions, either in Revenue Assurance or Fraud Management

  • Working knowledge in Unix systems and Databases – Oracle, MySQL.

  • Expertise in various analytics tools such and Python, Standard Query languages, Procedural Programming languages, Linux/Unix, scripting,

  • Domain experience in GSM and IT is a must

  • Broad technical expertise combined with business acumen and strong consulting skills.

  • Excellent systems analytical and communication (written and verbal) skills along with meeting facilitation skills

  • Excellent communication skills - must be able to listen to customers, document requirements quickly & accurately, and review written materials for accuracy. Must also be able to communicate specifications to persons at all technical levels.

  • Proven track record for delivery of large scale, complex projects delivering IT/Telco customer solutions; demonstrable leadership skills and organizational experience.

  • Ability to communicate and influence others.

  • Ability to drive initiatives without any formal authority in an ambiguous and startup environment

  • Broad technical expertise combined with business acumen and strong consulting skills.

  • Excellent systems analytical and communication (written and verbal) skills along with meeting facilitation skills.
