Safaricom Kenya Lead - Converged Business Solutions Jobs
Responsibilities
Define and manage end‑to‑end enterprise solutions portfolio across connectivity, payments, fixed/mobile voice, and VAS.
Drive convergence across GSM, cloud, security, business applications, and fintech propositions.
Build segment‑specific converged solutions (SMEs, large enterprises, public sector).
Develop industry‑aligned solution frameworks for Government, BFSI, Health, Manufacturing, and Transport.
Ensure commercial viability, margin accretion, and lifecycle governance of enterprise solutions.
Standardize and build reusable solution templates to reduce bespoke dependency.
Partner with Technology to validate feasibility, integration, and roadmap alignment.
Embed AI, automation, and emerging technologies into enterprise portfolio.
Design automated digital journeys for business customers and sales teams.
Define partnerships framework and device strategy for enterprise solutions.
Lead launch, growth, and sustenance plans for converged solutions.
Coach and mentor leadership team, drive diversity, inclusion, and succession readiness.
Institutionalize functional academy, playbooks, and digital‑first innovation models.
Champion cross‑functional collaboration, change management, and adoption of emerging technologies.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Economics, Telecommunications, Computer Science, IT, or related field.
Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Technology Management, or Digital Transformation preferred.
10–12 years’ progressive experience in enterprise
ICT solutions.
Demonstrated expertise in converged solutions spanning connectivity, cloud, IoT, and digital platforms.
Strong understanding of ICT architectures, API ecosystems, cloud‑native frameworks, and DevSecOps.
Experience in product lifecycle management, solution launch governance, and roadmap planning.
Certifications in Cloud (AWS, Azure, Google), Enterprise Architecture (TOGAF), Cybersecurity, or Project Management (PMP, PRINCE2) preferred.
Strong commercial acumen with ability to assess profitability and pricing frameworks.
Experience partnering with hyperscalers, OEMs, and system integrators.
Analytical capability with proficiency in solution modeling and performance dashboards.
Commitment to innovation, responsible technology deployment, and adherence to Safaricom’s Code of Conduct.
