Job Description

Safaricom Investment Co-operative (SIC) an investment cooperative that pursues joint investment for its members, through real estate investments, Marketable security, and Private Equity.

About The Role

We seek to fill the position of an ICT Officer. The ICT officer will be responsible for assisting the department in the day-to-day support of the organizational ICT needs.

What You Will Do

Installing and configuring computer systems and solutions.

Analyzing existing programs for modification and improvement.

Providing end user support and training on effective and efficient use of ICT facilities

Maintaining an up-to-date ICT equipment and issuance register.

Installing, configuring, and monitoring Local Area Network components.

Updating and maintaining the societies website.

Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners.

Planning and undertaking scheduled maintenance upgrades.Investigating, diagnosing, and solving computer software and hardware faults.

Maintaining records of software licenses.

Managing stocks of equipment, consumables,

and other supplies.Developing procedural documentation and providing relevant reports.

Managing and supporting the roll-out of new applications.

Perform routine server monitoring and performance benchmarking.

Providing Microsoft Navision ERP and CRM systems support.

Windows server support, AD, user and system data backup.

Qualifications

Have a Degree in IT or related field from an accredited university.

At least 3 years of active work experience

Advanced experience in networking and user support

Experience working with Microsoft server, Active directory and Microsoft exchange

Good understanding of software development and support

Certification as IT Technician will be an advantage (e.g. CompTIA A , Microsoft Certified IT Professional, CCNA)

Experience in the Use of Microsoft Navision or other ERP Highly desired
