Safari Park Hotel Head Baker Jobs in Kenya;Reporting to the Executive Chef through the Pastry Chef, the Head Baker will be responsible for producing high‑quality cakes, bread, and bakery products. The role requires creativity, precision, and adherence to hygiene and safety standards while managing tight production schedules.

Key Responsibilities

  • Bake high‑quality cakes, bread, and other bakery products.

  • Prepare pastry items including bread rolls, muffins, and cakes.

  • Check production schedules to determine variety and quantity of ingredients.

  • Monitor baking processes and make necessary adjustments.

  • Follow production schedules and standardized recipes.

  • Control costs to avoid waste and equipment damage.

  • Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations in the bakery.

    Qualifications & Skills

  • Aged 35–45 years.

  • Certificate in bakery/pastry from Kenya Utalii College or other internationally recognized hotel training institution.

  • Minimum ten (10) years’ experience in a similar position within a large organization, specializing in cakes, bread, and general baking.

  • Organized and able to work with minimal supervision.

  • Ability to meet tight production schedules and daily quotas.

  • Creative, self‑motivated, and innovative.

  • Sound knowledge of hygiene and safety standards in the kitchen with discipline to enforce them.
