S. Lloyd Nigeria Limited Electrical Supervisor Jobs

Job Description

Overseeing planned/corrective and predictive maintenance on all electrical machines;

Supervising all effective maintenance of all electrical components of the machines in the plant/factory (production, packaging etc.);

Troubleshooting and repairing malfunctioning equipment, appliances, and apparatus and ensuring minimum downtown;

Ensuring that tools & parts are well kept & managed at all times;

Ensuring that the proper and standard operational procedure are strictly adhered to;

Observing good housekeeping and adhering strictly to safety rules and procedures;

Executing plans of electrical wiring for well-functioning lighting, intercom and other electrical systems;

Installing electrical apparatus, fixtures and equipment for alarm and other systems;

Installing safety and distribution components (e.g. switches, resistors, circuit-breaker panels etc.);

Preventing breakdown of systems by routinely inspecting and replacing old wiring and insulated cables, cleaning circuits etc.;

Assessing need of spare parts and following up on the provision;

Inspection of PLC's operation and troubleshooting where needed;

Undertaking any other tasks or duties as required by your line manager

Requirements

Minimum of Diploma (HND) in Electrical Engineering;

Minimum of 5years cognate experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment;

Demonstrable ability to use electrical and hand tools (e.g. wire strippers, voltmeter etc.) and electrical drawings and blueprints

Knowledge of PLC, HMI etc. will be an added advantage;

Thorough knowledge of safety procedures

and legal regulations and guidelines;

Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving ability;

Relevant vocational training or successfully completed apprenticeship as an electrician will also be an added advantage;

Must be residing or willing to relocate to Odighi Community in Edo State.
