Rural Farm Supervisor Jobs in Taita Taveta

I’m recruiting for a client experienced Rural Farm Supervisor with over five years’ experience in agribusiness, agronomy Poultry, livestock production and production methodologies and project management experience.

Excellent reputation for resolving problems, improving Poultry health, livestock health and sustainable agronomy support plus driving overall operational improvements.

The role includes managing and developing agricultural and animal husbandry projects on the farm, developing the sustainability of the project through sales of produce.

The role requires strong leadership and management skills, flexibility, resourcefulness, and ability to work in team.

It is a challenging role, sometimes requiring long hours and living in rural area Kasigau – Taita-Taveta.

The role also includes developing our Community Sustainability Programme through teaching and training local farmers in regenerative farming techniques, water resource management and developing new breeds of poultry/ milking goats/beekeeping, hydroponics, and fish farming on the farm and within the community.

Requirements

Applicants must have suitable diploma or degree qualifications in agricultural management, with at least 3-5 years’ work experience in management of an agricultural business for a large company or an international development organisation.
