RTI International Epidemiologist Jobs in South Africa

Duties

Assist the CDC Influenza Division with implementation, monitoring, and oversight of influenza surveillance projects on the continent of Africa

Assist CDC South Africa and the National Institute of Communicable Diseases in Johannesburg with projects such as surveillance studies, outbreak investigation, animal-human interface activities

Requirements

Must have: PhD and DVM with a Master’s level Epidemiology degree

5+ years of experience in health or public health program management

Must have Experience in conducting burden of disease studies and experience in animal and human influenza in Africa

Fluency in French (Level 5).
