RSM Audit Senior Job in Kenya

Reporting to the audit manager and/or audit partner, the audit senior’s role is to:
  • Lead engagement teams to ensure work performed meets quality assurance standards and is executed in line with the RSM audit methodology
  • Develop the audit plan to address the risks identified and the client’s unique operating structure
  • Proactively manage client issues and expectations by providing optimal business solutions tailored to
    meet the needs of the clients
  • Provide on-the job training and supervision of the audit team
  • Bring to the attention of the audit manager/audit partner significant matters arising on the assignment

    Qualifications / Requirements:
  • University degree in areas of finance
  • Qualified CPA (K), ACCA, ACA or equivalent professional qualification
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar position and at least 4 years of combined audit experience
  • Excellent inter-personal, report writing and communication skills
  • Good knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards and International Standards on Auditing
  • Effective time management skills and ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Experience conducting audits of financial services including banks and insurance companies, will be advantageous (but not a must)
