Royal Childcare center (RCC) is an early learning center that provides an individualized, play based curriculum for infants, toddlers and preschoolers (0 – 4) all year round.

Our mission is to provide a loving and caring environment that sparks imagination and encourages curiosity thereby enabling each child to discover their world and, working together with families, to nurture the development of a lifelong love for learning.

As a Center Administrator, parents, teachers, and your Director will look to you for answers, direction and assistance.

You will be trusted with a wide range of tasks that will be essential to the smooth running of the Center as well as to the educational development of the children. .

Duties will include:

Children and their families

  • Be responsible for ensuring a caring and safe environment for the children and parents;
  • Spark imagination, build self-esteem and help children discover new things each day;
  • Partner with parents with a shared desire to provide the best child care for their children;
  • Observe, plan and implement developmentally appropriate practices to
  • Communication with parents to report children’s progress
  • Assist teachers with development and execution of curriculum and activities that contribute to the growth, education, and development of the children;
  • Build cohesion within the team
  • Ensure that utmost care is taken in working with children and proper business etiquette followed in dealing with families
  • Assist the Director in staff development and training.
  • Ensure that a conducive working environment is maintained
  • Assist the Director with the operation of the school;
  • Promote the positive image of the company and play a major role in marketing and making RCC a provider of choice in childcare programs for the communities that we service.
  • Help achieve profitability for the company.
  • Purchasing supplies, equipment, food, etc. while operating within budgetary guidelines;
  • Cultivate positive relationships with families,
    teachers, community contacts and corporate partners
  • Serve in various roles throughout the center as needed to ensure smooth running of the center.

    Skills, Education, and Experience
  • Min. Bachelor’s degree in Education, Early childhood education, child development, child psychology OR Business-related degree with experience in a childcare setting OR related field.
  • A love for children and a strong desire to make a difference every day
  • Management experience required preferably with childcare, but will consider other types
  • Must be a team builder, organized and possess excellent customer service/communication skills.
  • Flexible and energetic
  • Ability to juggle multiple duties
  • Detail oriented with the ability to plan and organize
  • Ability to resolve conflicts
  • CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain
  • Certificate of Good Conduct obtained from
  • At least one year of administrative experience in programs for children, including program management, curriculum design and supervision of staff with evidence of strong leadership skills and the ability to form positive relations with parents
  • At least two years of early childhood education experience required, with an understanding of developmentally appropriate practices and the ability to ensure its use in the classroom
