Roofings Limited Shift Engineer Jobs in Uganda

Responsibilities
  • Submitting daily production (including commercial & scrap)/attendance/maintenance reports for the entire machines to management.
  • Machine care and maintenance of all the machines.
  • Proper communication with respective department heads & execution of instruction, requisition and ensuring proper use of raw materials, manpower and consumables.
  • Advising management on anticipated equipment failures.
  • Giving technical support during the maintenance of machines.
  • Ensuring quality of finished products.
  • Organizing, leading and supervising the activities of the staff under the job title holder.
  • Maintaining discipline of manpower in all the sections.
  • Any other duties as may be assigned by the Factory Manager.
  • Authorized to stop the production lines in case of any quality problem, or malfunction of the machines and take corrective measures.
  • Authorized to sanction his subordinates incase of any indiscipline act and take disciplinary measures against them.
  • Team Leaders, Section heads, Engineers, Store keepers, Assistant Maintenance Manager, Maintenance Manager, and Factory Manager.
  • Use of over coat, safety shoes, ear plugs and gloves.

    Minimum Requirements
  • Knowledge/Qualifications/Experience
  • He/she should hold a Bsc degree in Mechanical Engineering/Electrical Engineering.

    Skills
  • Proficiency in material science.
  • Job Experience Requirements: 5 Years
