About RHS - Providing wholesome education through the Cambridge International and the Rwanda National curricula, the quality of which is seen in the current and past learners, RHS has been in existence for the last thirteen years.
The school was founded in 2007 as a coeducational institution to enable primary school graduates access secondary schooling in a serene boarding environment.
Boys and girls who have successfully completed the primary school course can join RHS in either Year 8 of the Cambridge program or Senior One (S1) of the National program.
Those joining midstream are assessed based on established qualification criteria for either of the two programs.
Location
The school is located on a 35-acre piece of land, about twenty kilometers east of Kigali city.
It takes an average of between twenty five and thirty minutes to drive from the city center to RHS.
This location provides, in a very natural way, the envisaged tranquil and serene environment, detached from the cacophony of city traffic and other attendant hustles.
School Capacity
RHS is a fully-boarding institution with a capacity to host 600 boys and girls in dormitories partitioned into neat spacious cubicles. The boarding quarters are separated by living-fences that ensure absolute privacy and healthy coexistence between boys and girls.
About the Position
RHS is seeking to recruit a person with outstanding qualities to take up the position of Deputy Principal.
This is a pivotal position offering the successful person a chance to lead the school’s core functions and guide them to success.
The person must therefore provide proof of experience in teaching and management at this level, especially in the Cambridge International curriculum.
Any knowledge in the teaching and management of the BTEC curriculum will be an added advantage.
