Riana Group Assistant Project Coordinator Jobs in Kenya; Responsible for overseeing project functions and ensuring projects are delivered on time from inception to completion while meeting objectives. Provides back‑office support, reporting, communication, and client relationship management to support the Project Coordinator Lead.
Key Responsibilities
Support site meeting preparation – organize meetings, prepare agenda, take minutes, and follow up on action items.
Compile project status reports and maintain up‑to‑date documentation.
Work closely with external stakeholders, architects, engineers, and contractors.
Assist in developing project scope, objectives, and detailed workplans.
Track tasks, deadlines, and progress with team members.
Coordinate equipment and material usage and deliveries to sites.
Update project timelines and calendars; notify stakeholders of changes.
Maintain communication with internal teams and clients.
Support quality checks and compile findings for technical review.
Assist in coordination of transport, travel documents, and site access.
Identify and report risks or delays; propose mitigation measures.
Ensure safety and security protocols are followed on sites.
Continuously learn about security systems and project management practices.
Identify process improvements.
Attend internal and site meetings as required.
Stay updated on industry trends and customer support best practices.
Skills & Personal Attributes
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical) or related field.
Basic proficiency in AutoCAD or similar design software; willingness to improve.
Familiarity with electronic security systems (CCTV, access control, alarms) an advantage.
Competence in project management tools (MS Project, Trello, Excel).
2+ years’ experience in technical or project support role.
Exposure to site work and technical team coordination desirable.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
Detail‑oriented with proactive problem‑solving approach.
Ability to follow instructions and collaborate across teams.
Knowledge of customer support best practices including empathy and active listening.
