Reputable Nigerian Bank Treasurer Jobs in Nigeria

Job Responsibilities

To manage the liquidity of the Bank in a bid to actualize the objectives of the

Bank while complying with all regulatory requirements.

Develop and implement all policies as they relate to the treasury function.

Coordinate the assets and liabilities of the Bank.

Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal ratios as they relate to all

Treasury products and the Bank’s Balance sheet.

Overseeing the trading desk in the development and implementation of strategies and products to meet the Bank’s trading budgets.

Key Competencies and Qualifications

A first Degree or equivalent in any discipline and relevant Professional Certification e.g. ACI or Treasury Dealership Certificate.

Minimum of 10 years’ post-graduation experience out of which 8 years must have been spent in treasury related functions.

Excellent numerate skills

Knowledge and understanding of the local and global financial markets.

Excellent customer relationship development/management.

Good negotiation and social skills.

Knowledge and understanding of Bank’s products.

Analytical skills/problem-solving.
