Reproductive Health Network Kenya Information Technology (IT) Officer Jobs; We are seeking a competent, innovative, and results‑oriented IT Officer to oversee and support the organization’s ICT infrastructure, systems, and digital operations. The successful candidate will ensure efficient functioning, security, and maintenance of technology resources to support program implementation and operational excellence.
Duties & Responsibilities
Provide technical support to staff on hardware, software, network systems, and ICT equipment.
Manage and maintain IT infrastructure including servers, networks, internet connectivity, and communication systems.
Install, configure, and troubleshoot systems, applications, printers, and peripherals.
Ensure data security, integrity, and availability through backups, antivirus protection, and cybersecurity measures.
Monitor system performance and recommend improvements.
Manage user accounts, access rights, email systems, and ICT asset inventories.
Support implementation and maintenance of information systems, databases, and cloud platforms.
Develop and enforce ICT policies, procedures, and best practices.
Coordinate ICT procurement and liaise with vendors/service providers.
Conduct staff training on ICT systems, cybersecurity awareness, and digital tools.
Prepare periodic ICT
reports and recommend technology improvements.
Support digital transformation initiatives and technology‑driven projects.
Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and organizational standards.
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or related field.
Minimum 1 year relevant experience in IT support, systems administration, or network management.
Professional certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+, CCNA, MCP, etc.) are an added advantage.
Experience managing networks, cloud services, cybersecurity, and ICT support services.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, Windows OS, networking technologies, and information security practices.
Experience with database management, backup systems, and ICT asset management.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
High level of integrity and commitment to confidentiality.
