Job Summary

Our client is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Account Officer to join our finance team.

As an Account Officer, you will be responsible for managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and providing exceptional customer service. Your role will contribute to the financial health and success of the organization.

Responsibilities

Process and record financial transactions accurately and in a timely manner.

Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of accounts.

Monitor accounts receivable and accounts payable.

Prepare and submit financial reports as required.

Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and up-to-date financial information.

Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting.

Provide excellent customer service to clients, addressing inquiries and resolving discrepancies.

Assist in the preparation of financial audits.

Maintain a thorough understanding of relevant accounting regulations and best practices.

Participate in the improvement and implementation of accounting procedures.

Contribute to team efforts and support colleagues as needed.

Stay up-to-date with industry trends and changes in accounting standards.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Proven experience in an accounting role.

ICAN or ACCA will be an added advantage.

Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.

Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Excellent attention

to detail and accuracy.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

High level of integrity and confidentiality.

Strong organizational and time management skills.
