Job Description

Planning

  • Build the joint business plan with accounts

  • Build and accurately forecast and achieve the account (s) results and plan growth drivers accordingly

  • Plan for turnover, Market Share and Profit of Customers

  • Build the action plan to implement the channel strategy and ensure that execution at a store level

  • Act as the expert of the account (s) to feed a retailer-centric account planning process which will ensure alignment in business plans

  • Implements 4P's (product, placement, promotion and pricing) business tactics that align with brand strategies and meet customer needs

  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives

  • Responsible for keeping current clients satisfied and delivering exceptional client service on a day-to-day basis

  • Responsible for working with the Sales team to onboard and integrate new clients and developing existing client relationships

    Collaboration

  • Collaborating with Customers to accelerate category growth (volume & value)

  • Contribute to the commercial vision by sharing account perspective, risks and opportunities

  • Liaise between the customer and internal teams

  • Developing and leveraging relationships with key influencer and decision makers in assigned stores, markets, and regions

  • Execute sales calls with customers on behalf of clients within the designated accounts

  • Monitor customer sales, pricing, rebates and deductions on behalf of the client

  • Build, maintain, and create strong customer relationships with new and existing clients

  • Work with the sales
    and marketing team members dedicated to the same client account to ensure open communication and that you are meeting client needs

    Reporting

  • Communicate clearly the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders

  • Plan and present reports on account progress, goals, and quarterly initiatives to share with team members, stakeholders, and possible use in future case studies or company training

  • complete accurate and timely paperwork, reports, recaps, itineraries, timesheets, expense reports, etc

    Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing,

  • 4+ years of professional experience in inside sales, sales, or sales support, including experience in the FMCG industry

  • Proven account management or other relevant experience

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level

  • Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail

  • Excellent negotiation and problem solving skills required

  • Strong computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, and web-browsers

  • Excellent customer service orientation
