Reeds Africa Consult Business Development Manager Jobs in Kenya; Lead and manage the sales team, generate new leads, drive client retention, and secure business using available tools and resources to exceed predefined targets set by management.

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Identify business opportunities by researching prospects and analyzing sales options.

  • Sell products by establishing contact and developing client relationships; recommend solutions.

  • Follow up on all requests and quotes to secure business.

  • Attain monthly sales turnover targets.

  • Ensure 0% unresolved client queries.

  • Actively visit clients to ensure satisfaction and secure business.

  • Maintain client relationships by providing support, information, and guidance.

  • Identify product improvements or new products by monitoring industry trends and competitors.

  • Prepare and submit timely reports by collecting and analyzing information.

  • Maintain quality service by enforcing organizational standards.

  • Enhance professional knowledge by attending workshops, networking, and benchmarking practices.

  • Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed.

    Requirements

  • Diploma in Sales and Marketing or related course.

  • Minimum 5 years’ proven experience in Sales / Business Development in CFS, Freight Forwarding, or Logistics.

  • Proven ability to consistently meet sales targets.

  • Strong communication, presentation, and influencing skills.

  • Experience delivering client‑focused solutions.

  • Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
