Reeds Africa Consult Assistant Accountant Jobs in Kenya; We are seeking a motivated and self‑driven Assistant Accountant to join our client’s finance section. The role involves supporting accounting transactions verification, managing financial records, preparing financial reports and statements, and handling supplier reconciliations.

Job Description

  • Process payables and receivables.

  • Invoice clients.

  • Participate in preparation of accounting statements.

  • Assist in budget and cash‑flow management.

  • Handle revenue collection and confirmation.

  • Verify figures and balances, rectifying discrepancies.

  • Ensure timely banking and proper filing of related documents.

  • Coordinate and manage payment and billing details of service providers, contractors, and vendors.

  • Prepare and claim VAT reports.

  • File claims on withholding and VAT taxes.

  • Ensure cheques are deposited on time to advised banks.

  • Reconcile purchases to ensure compliance with company performance and profitability.

  • Prepare and share accurate sales and collection reports.

    Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related course.

  • 1–2 years’ practical accounting experience.

  • Experience in a busy industry environment.
