Responsibilities
• Provide operations input into planning for new data centre projects
• Prepare annual work plan for Data Centers including preventive maintenance, scheduled fire checks, etc
• Checks and monitors fuel consumption at data centres and other sites ensuring that sufficient stocks are available and measures are in place to prevent pilferage.
• Tracks and provides updates of facilities-related issues in all Data Centers on a daily basis through the Daily Checklist, and on monthly basis through the monthly data center report.
• Facilitate smooth transition of data centre projects by participating in acceptance testing as well as checking fitness for operation and compliance to scope
• Ensure daily, weekly and monthly status reports on the performance of the data centre and its support nodes highlighting utilization information for quick management action
• Primary point of contact for contracted facilities vendors.
• Ensure that all data centre support nodes have valid Maintenance / Service Level Agreement. • Ensure that the maintenance contracts are renewed on time each period.
• Monitors service contracts (Fuel delivery, Aircon, Power Plant and Fire systems etc.) and Evaluates performance of vendors making recommendations as necessary on performance of subcontracted vendors

Qualifications
• 3 to 5 years post qualifying experience in similar role
• 3-year Advanced Technician diploma in facilities management / power / Air-conditioning systems maintenance
