  • Our Client is seeking a CFO to join their team in Malawi.

    Duties to include

  • Providing leadership, direction and management of the finance and accounting team

  • Help with recruiting new staff members when necessary.

  • Providing strategic recommendations to the CEO/president and members of the executive management team

  • Managing the processes for financial forecasting and budgets, and overseeing the preparation of all financial reporting

  • Advising on long-term business and financial planning

  • Establishing and developing relations with senior management and external partners and stakeholders

  • Reviewing all formal finance, HR and IT related procedures

  • Identify and address financial risks and opportunities for the company.

  • Review financial reports for ways to reduce costs.

  • Work well with Chief Marketing Officer, CEO, and COO to develop the strategic plan.

    Key Skills

  • 8-10 years of work experience within the Agriculture field and in leadership positions and experience reporting to boards of directors.

  • Financial planning and strategy

  • Managing profitability

  • Must have excellent interpersonal and team building

  • Must possess strong organizational skills
    Corporate finance

    Required Skills

  • 8 Years of Experience

    Qualifications

  • Fully qualified CA / ACCA / Finance Degree
