Reconciliation Accountant Job at Sheer Logic Management

Sheer Logic Management Consultants is seeking to engage dynamic individuals for Reconciliation Accountant Position for one of our clients

Reconciliation Accountant Job Responsibilities

Get the requisite Inputs from internal and external sources e.g. HR,IT ,Chase bank, Jumo,

Equity etc and ensure booking of Money revenue recognition

Ensures booking of bank transfers and confirming bank charges

Run spot check on bank accounts to check on accuracy and completeness before month end reporting and pass relevant journals

Reconcile daily cash collection merchant accounts against balance movement in the respective virtual accounts.

Initiate settlements for above as and when due.

Handle Merchants queries and concerns relating to their account statements.

Prepare Merchants settlements after verification and validation of their respective collections as per contractual obligations.

Qualifications for the Reconciliation Accountant Job

University Degree in Accounting or Business (with an accounting emphasis) ;

Certified Public Accountant (Kenya) or equivalent

Proficiency in Microsoft office suite, Sound Financial Accounting knowledge. 0-18 months with University Degree in Accounting or Business (with an accounting emphasis) or Equivalent

2-3 years experience working with

commissions statements, bank reconciliations, accounts payable and/or receivables, and payroll

Basic knowledge of all accounting

functional areas

IT literacy

Business awareness

Strong analytical skills and problem solving skills

Excellent planning skills

High personal standards and goal oriented

Excellent interpersonal skills

Excellent and effective communications skills, both orally and in writing

Team Leadership
