RAZEL-BEC arrived recently in Ethiopia to operate through its Project Office RAZEL-BEC.
It has been awarded the Bus Rapid Transit project consisting in developing 17.3 KM of high-level bus traffic lane including crossroads, facilities for vehicles, cyclists and pedestrians and installation of 23 bus stations
Job Description
Daily accounting of invoices, petty cash, bank etc.
Perform month-end accounting activities such as reconciliations and journal entries
Coordinate with finance team to complete assigned accounting tasks within deadlines
Perform financial analysis and reporting to management as needed
Respond to accounting inquiries from management
Assist in auditing activities by providing necessary information and preparing requested documentations.
Monitor and record financial transactions according to company policies and regulations.
Prepare payments instructions
Compute taxes owed and prepare tax returns, ensuring compliance with payment, reporting and other tax requirements
Job Requirements
Education and Skills
Experience
3 to 5 years experience
Education Level
Degree in Accounting
Knowledge Of: Financial Reporting/General Ledger
Strong knowledge of ERCA regulations and rules
Software: PC proficient, good MS Office skills particularly strong capabilities in MS Excel
High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation
Excellent strategic planning skills and ability to deal with multiple tasks; Strong verbal and written English
Personality: Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines required
Experience working for an industrial multi-national company, in particular in the Construction industry
