Rwanda, Tanzania and South Sudan.
On behalf of one of our Kampala based clients, we are looking for competent and experienced Accounts Assistants

Job Purpose:

To provide Accounts Assistant services to AOTU in line with AOI and AOTU Financial Policies and Procedures.

Duties and Responsibilities

Process farmer payment, by daily tracking Farmer payments and transfers.

Booking forestry invoices, using WBS coding and booking of Forestry invoices

Reconciling farmer payments banks, through daily and weekly tracking of farmer payments and cleaning instructions in the Accounting system.

Booking wood fuel invoices, and preparing monthly reconciliation of invoices received against issued Purchase Orders for wood fuel

Booking tractor plough invoices, by preparing monthly reconciliation of invoices received against Purchased Orders issued for Tractor Plough

Preparing forestry capex forms per invoice

Farmer Withholding Tax (WHT) input and Reconciliation

Qualification & Skill

Degree in Accounts or similar

Finance and Accounting experience (1 -2years)

On-line

Payments

Bank Reconciliations

Local tax Laws; Banking systems; Knowledge of SAP; Records Management; Knowledge of IFAS.
