Qualifications for appointment

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, Public Relations, Communication Studies, Media Studies, or Photojournalism from a university recognized in Kenya

  • OR a Bachelor’s degree in Social Science with a Postgraduate Diploma in Photojournalism, Mass Communication, Journalism, Public Relations, Communication Studies, or Media Studies from a recognized institution

    Added advantage
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Multimedia communication skills

  • Understanding of Artificial Intelligence

  • Social media management skills

    Duties and responsibilities

  • Gather, write, verify, translate and edit news, information and features; upload content onto Kenya News Agency website and Information Resource Centres

  • Manage information gathering and dissemination systems
