Qualifications for appointment]

  • Bachelor’s degree in Cooperative Business, Cooperative Management, Cooperative and Community Development, Commerce, Entrepreneurship, Finance, Agribusiness or its equivalent qualification from a university recognized in Kenya

    Duties and responsibilities

  • Collect, collate and compile cooperatives data

  • Verify documents for registration/applications of new cooperatives, amendment of by-laws, name searches, borrowing powers, indemnities, charges and debentures, and remittances

  • Compile cooperatives annual returns

  • Issue and receive wealth declaration forms from cooperative officials

  • Support implementation of cooperative development programmes and projects

  • Disseminate cooperative policies, guidelines and standards
