PSC Assistant Director, Estate Management Jobs in Kenya

Qualifications for appointment

Served for a minimum period of three (3) years in the grade of Principal Estate Management Officer, CSG 8, or in a comparable position in the public service

Bachelor’s degree in Housing Administration, Architecture, Land Economics, Urban/Regional Planning, Construction Management, Property Management and Valuation, Facilities Management, Business Administration, Structural/Civil/Building/Mechanical Engineering or any other equivalent and relevant qualification from a university recognized in Kenya

Registration by any of the following bodies: Institution of Surveyors of Kenya, Board of Architects and Quantity Surveyors, Physical Planners Registration Board, Engineers Registration Board or any other relevant and recognized body

Gained wide experience and demonstrated competence in the organization of estate management

Demonstrated professional competence and ability in the supervision of work of professionals

Duties and responsibilities

Coordinate and supervise estate management functions

Implement policy programmes in areas of property management

Coordinate building surveying and project administration

Advise on contractual matters and tendering procedures

Oversee feasibility studies, due diligence and property valuation

Facilitate identification of estates for redevelopment

Coordinate environmental impact assessments and audits

Supervise, manage and develop staff
