Job PurposeThe HR Manager is responsible for developing and executing strategic HR initiatives focused on talent acquisition, learning and development (L&D), and employee engagement.
Responsibilities Develop and Implement recruitment plans tailored to the needs of the organization
Oversee onboarding programs, ensuring new hires are effectively integrated and licensed where applicable.
Lead the design, delivery, and evaluation of learning and development programs including security certifications, customer service, and supervisory training.
Implement talent development plans, including succession planning and performance improvement initiatives.
Maintain accurate records of employee licensing and certifications (e.g., PSRA compliance).
Analyse HR metrics and provide monthly reports on staffing, training effectiveness, turnover, and engagement.
Ensure compliance with Kenyan labour laws and private security industry regulations.
Manage internal employee communication on HR policy, benefits, and career development.
Conduct Training Needs Assessments (TNA) across departments and coordinate
periodic refresher courses.
Manage the performance management cycle and coach managers on performance conversations.
Champion employee recognition, wellness, and retention strategies.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Management, or related field
Professional Qualification-Higher Diploma in HRM, CHRP-K, or equivalent
Valid IHRM Certification-Desirable
Work Experience
Minimum of 7 years HR experience, with at least 3 in talent and L&D in a service-oriented or security-related organization

Recruitment & selection expertise
Strong training design & facilitation skills
Understanding of labour law and PSRA compliance
Data-driven HR reporting and analytics
Performance management system implementation
