Première Urgence Internationale Financial Coordinator Jobs in Nigeria; The Financial Coordinator is accountable for sound financial, accounting, and budgetary management of the mission.

The role serves as the financial representative internally and externally (donors, authorities, NGOs), ensuring compliance and efficiency.

Responsibilities

Financial, Budgetary & Accounting Management:

Oversee all aspects of finance, including budgetary and accounting elements, and mission cash flow

Representation:

Represent the association in relations with partners, authorities, and local stakeholders on financial matters

Coordination:

Centralize and disseminate financial information within the mission and to headquarters

Consolidate internal and external reporting for financial domains

Challenges

Maintain high-quality and up-to-date financial tools at strategic and implementation levels

Build capacity and strengthen financial processes across departments and with non-financial colleagues

Qualifications

Education:

Master’s degree in Financial and Accounting Management

Technical background in project management is an asset

Experience:

Minimum 2 years’ experience in financial/accounting management

Previous humanitarian experience abroad appreciated

Prior work with Première Urgence Internationale is an asset

Skills:

Strong writing and financial skills

Knowledge of institutional donor procedures

Advanced Excel proficiency

Experience with SAGA accounting software preferred

Qualities:

Strong communication skills (oral and written)

Team spirit, analytical capability, sense of

responsibility, organizational skills

Reactivity, adaptability, and resilience under pressure and unstable circumstances

Languages:

Fluency in English (mandatory)

Spanish, Arabic, and/or French are assets
