Precision Recruitment International General Manager Jobs in Zambia

Job Details:

Our client in the Mining industry is looking for a General Manager for their processing plant. They are looking for a dedicated person who can grow the plant and ensure a consistent and continuous operation. The GM is responsible for the daily operation on site and will be heading up the operational team and will be reporting through to the Managing Director.

Key Technical Skills Required:

• Metallurgical Engineering Degree preferred

• +10 years experience in hydrometallurgy, solvent extraction, electrowinning with strong analytical, organizational and problem solving skills.

• Management experience with exposure to HR policy.

• Independent character capable of motivating workforce to achieve clearly defined production targets and with a clear, in-depth understanding of copper processing to the extent that failure is minimized and within budget.

• Develop, manage and grow SXEW plant. You must have worked in similar organisation structures, where you have gained solid practical and operational understanding.

You should be:

• An energetic person, eager and capable of learning new things whilst also able to teach others.

• A natural leader who intuitively takes a proactive approach.

• Hands on and you understand practical things.

• Detail orientated and you understand checks and balances intuitively.

• Up for a challenge!
