We are looking for a result driven Program Coordinator that support the management and implementation of MC program by (i) preparing and implementing program operational plan and budgets; (ii) ensuring compliance with donor and organization requirements and internal monitoring systems; and (iii) preparing and submitting program and operational reports.

Key Result Areas:

  • Program operation management (e.g., timely preparation and rollout of program operating plan; Program outputs and milestones achieved within specified period)
  • Budget and cost management (e.g., budget analysis and forecasts for enhanced budget utilization and for maintaining program cost effectiveness)
  • Monitoring, compliance and reporting (e.g., timeliness and quality of quarterly, annual reports compiled)
  • Stakeholder relationship management (e.g., good rapport maintained with regional and local stakeholders)

    Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Co-design the operation and cost modelling for the solution to be designed in the
    In-school SRH program.
  • Prepare program and operation plan; and perform budget preparation, analysis and forecasting.
  • Provide technical assistance and serve as knowledge resource to all staff with regard to budget preparation, cost and pricing benchmarks, and standard operation procedure guidance as it relates to financial management.
  • Coordinate operational activities (e.g. scheduling, logistical and financial organization of field trips and workshops, procurement processes, etc.).
  • Ensure timely and on budget project activities and program delivery; and take corrective actions as needed.
  • Identify and structure problems and risks affecting timely delivery of work streams, and promptly communicate upward with solution options and recommendations.
  • Proactively engage with senior staff to seek input and enhance program outputs.
  • Ensure quality standards and compliance requirements of government, donor and PSI/E are met.
  • Maintain up to date knowledge of PSI and donors’ grant management rules and regulations as required.
  • Execute wide range of analysis drawing on best practices and use data for decision making for program enhancement.
  • Ensure the timely submission of the financial reports and review the incurred costs for completeness, accuracy, allow ability, reasonableness.
  • Respond to queries in internal and external discussions and make sensible adjustments to project implementation based on the regional context.

    Job Requirements

    Background

  • Master’s degree in Economics, Public Health, Sexual Reproductive Health, Population Studies or related fields with four (4) years of demonstrated experience

    OR

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Public Health, Sexual Reproductive Health, Population Studies or related fields with six (6) years of demonstrated experience
