We are looking for A dynamic, result driven and dedicated a dynamic, result Finance Coordinator who will be primarily responsible for ensuring smooth operation of financial activities of the regional office.

S/he is mainly responsible for area office finance operation activities, fixed asset and inventory management, lease, utilities, vehicle fleet, office security, cleaning and time keeping.

The incumbent of the position also serves as an extension of Grant and Contract team and shoulder responsibility related to the function of grant and contract activities.

S/he provides administrative and logistical coordination support for trainings organized by the central office. S/he has also a dotted line relationship
with the central office support functions such as Operation, Finance and Human Resources.

Your contribution

  • Under the direction of the Area Program Manager, the Finance Coordinator will be responsible for delivering the financial and admin activities and extension of Grant and Contract team and shoulder responsibility related to the function of grant and contract activities.

  • Plan, organize and coordinate the regional office financial activities and keep documents for audit and future reference.
  • Ensure compliance of all transactions at field level to Government, PSI/E and donor rules and regulations including taxes.
  • Provide regular technical assistance on Grant and Financial Management to Local Implementing Partners (LIPs), HAPCOs/HBs working in their corridors.
  • Review monthly/quarterly financial report and give feedback to both Area Program Team and PSI/E Grants and Contract team.
  • Ensure all required financial and contractual documents is in place by all grantees and ready for audit when required.
  • Ensure timely disbursement of external and internal payments.
  • Timely submission of Operational Advance Request (OAR).
  • Review every month LIPs and RHAPCOs financial utilization and provide feedback.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business Administration or related field.
  • Have at least 3 years of relevant experience in similar finance areas.
  • Have demonstrated experience in logical analysis.
  • Hands on experience on planning, organizing and communicating tasks.
