Population Services International Field Operations Manager Jobs in South Sudan

Responsibilities

Provide support to State Coordinators (SC) in the completion of reports and work plans, ensuring compliance with reporting requirements
Coordinate with the HPF implementing partners to ensure information and objectives of the HPF work streams are implemented in a timely and harmonised manner.

Monitor implementation activities, collecting relevant data.

Work closely with HPF management to provide feedback on field activities, track project results and provide feedback to relevant Work Streams.

Develop and maintain good working relationship with the State Government and County authorities, including State Ministries of Health, Finance and Labour

Qualifications

Minimum 7 years of relevant experience; with minimum five years management experience in a developing country;

Bachelors or Masters degree from a recognized university in Management, Health or a related field

Extensive experience in management and supervision of staff

Strong problem-solving skills
Good interpersonal skills and ability to interact effectively with staff, vendors, outside agencies and government officials.

A team player able to work with policy, management and service delivery colleagues

Ability and willingness to work in a resource-scarce environment

Sensitivity working with government structures in South Sudan

Ability to work in a quickly changing political environment and ability to respond to needs as they arise

Sound knowledge of operations within the health sector
