Position Title: Creative Graphic Designer

Department: Marketing and Communication

Reporting To: Creative Design and Production Lead

Contract Term: Pool (Indefinite Quantity Contract)

Duty Station: Addis Ababa

Remuneration: As per organization pay scale plus other PSI/Ethiopia staff benefits.

We are looking for a Creative Graphic Designer consultant to generate multidimensional creative ideas and designs.

Key Result Areas:

Generate multidimensional creative ideas and designs

Designing graphics

for both digital and print using Adobe Creative Suite

Scope of Work

Communicate and articulate ideas through meaningful and creative designs;

Generate solutions through creative means;

Actively listen to PSI-E staffs to determine design parameters;

Direct brainstorming meetings and creative sessions;

Design marketing and promotional materials such as posters, infographics, infographic videos (for both print and web) ;

Promote creativity and open ideas within the team;

Offer fresh, strong and unique graphic designs;

Job Requirements

Background

BA Degree in Graphic design, Fine Art, Computer science, or relevant field

At least four years of experience practicing creative graphic design

Excellent experience in Adobe Creative

Suite and other design software like CorelDRAW

Creative Problem-Solving Skills;

Someone who can offer fresh, strong and unique graphic designs;

English language speaker;

Able to begin work immediately;

A strategist and an innovator: creative, innovative and a strategic thinker;

Constructively using feedback to fine-tune project deliverables;

Managing time and prioritizing tasks to make sure all project deliverables are finished within the deadline
