Platinum Outsourcing and Logistics QHSE Coordinator Jobs in Kenya


Job Purpose

To support the implementation of QHSE Management Systems in compliance with company, national, and international standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support implementation of QHSE Management Systems in line with company, national, and international standards.

  • Conduct regular audits to minimize non‑conforming activities and identify improvement opportunities.

  • Monitor company activities to prevent environmental pollution.

  • Ensure a secure, safe, and healthy working environment across sites.

  • Identify QHSE training needs and facilitate delivery.

  • Conduct toolbox meetings with teams on safety matters.

  • Report all incidents and accidents, ensuring statutory reporting compliance.

  • Prepare and submit periodic reports to the Regional Quality Manager.

  • Establish emergency response procedures and ensure personnel awareness.

  • Constitute and manage a Health, Safety & Environment Committee in line with group and local legislation.

  • Ensure availability and proper condition of personal protective equipment (PPE).

  • Review contracts with service providers to ensure HSE compliance.

  • Induct new employees and contractors on health, safety, and environmental policies.

  • Raise requisitions for departmental supplies to support operations.

    Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a Science‑related field.

  • Working knowledge of Management Systems (QMS ISO 9001, EMS ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001).

    Key Skills

  • Strong communication and customer care skills.

  • Computer literacy.

  • Analytical and organizational abilities.

    Experience

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in QHSE coordination or related field.
