Platinum Outsourcing and Logistics Mechanical Service Delivery Engineer Jobs in Kenya
Major / Primary Responsibilities
Review all HLD documentation (technical proposals, baseline/concept scheme drawings, schedules, BoQ, concept reports, responsibility matrix)
Compile high‑level project costs and advise final design briefs for completion by local consultants
Follow LLD and develop/revert BoQ; clarify LLD, BoQ, and responsibility matrix to subcontractors
Support project management (sub‑contractor selection/management, supply chain, procurement, process management, acceptance)
Lead mechanical work implementation onsite; manage relationships with customers and consultants
Finalize mechanical work SOPs and check subcontractor installation quality
Coordinate teams and manage project implementation plans, catching up on delays

Qualifications & Experience
Degree in Mechanical Engineering – non‑negotiable
Professional registration preferred
IT/ICT or business‑related qualification an advantage
Minimum 5 years’
mechanical implementation experience (medium to large‑scale projects; data centers/mission critical/industrial preferred)
Minimum 2 large‑scale Data Center projects (≥1 MW) implementation experience
Complex services coordination
Awareness of industry standards (Uptime Institute, TIA 942, local standards)
Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, Revit, and mechanical modelling software
Experience with MEP consultants, vendor/consultant management
Knowledge of building codes/regulations in Southern Africa; international project experience preferred
Excellent communication, attention to detail, and high quality standards
Ability to manage multiple fast‑paced projects simultaneously
Willingness to travel internationally
