Position Livelihood Officer

Location Plan International Ethiopia various Emergency Response Area

Plan International is an independent non-profit organization that advances children’s wellbeing and equality for girls. Working in building powerful partnerships for children for over 75 years, and are now active in more than 70 countries.

Plan International is a global organization that works side by side with communities in 50 developing countries to end the cycle of poverty for children and their families.

Plan International is currently updating its Emergency roster sheet for different emergency response areas and is looking for Livelihood Officerto play a vital role in our mission to archives lasting improvements in the quality of life of deprived children in developing countries.

Job Requirements

Educational Qualification and Experience

  • BSc degree in Agricultural Economics, Rural Development, Agronomy, or other related fields with 3 years of working experience in areas of emergency response.
  • Experience in sustainable rural poverty reduction projects.
  • Experience in innovative livelihood approaches.
