Job Description

Our client, a manufacturing company based in Addis Ababa, is looking for competent applicants for the post of a Senior Accountant with the following responsibilities.

finalization of books of accounts

reconciliation and financial statements/ information according to statutory obligations and company policy.

monthly reconciliation of accounts and bank statements

Job Requirements

A degree in accounting / finance with a minimum 5 years experience

Taxation law knowledge

Strong computer skills especially in Peachtree, word and excel software programs

Manufacturing industry experience is highly advantageous

Excellent organizational and time-management skills

Good command of English

Good experience with inventory control
