Job Details

  • Phoenix Aviation Limited (PAL) & Phoenix Global Air Ambulance (PMA).

    Key Responsibilities

    • Operate as Pilot-in-Command for the Cessna Citation and Beechcraft King Air Fleet aircraft

    • Operate the aircraft safely and efficiently in the capacity of the respective position

    • Manage in field client relationships as the face of Phoenix Aviation

    Duty Requirements

    • Main base of operations will be Nairobi, Kenya.

    • Due to the nature of Phoenix Aviation and Phoenix Global Air Ambulance operations, the aircraft may be deployed and operated at a base away from Nairobi in any United Nations (UN) missions around the World.

  • Applicants must be willing to be away from the Nairobi main base for 80 days between crew member rotations.

  • This interval may be reduced according to company requirements and relief crew availability.

    • Applicants must be willing to fly suspected or confirmed COVID 19 patient transfer flights in accordance with World Health Organization (WHO) Standards and Recommended Practices with Phoenix Aviation state-of-the-art patient transfer equipment.

    • Applicants holding foreign pilot licenses should be willing to convert to Kenyan licenses.

    How to Apply

  • Main base of operations will be Nairobi, Kenya

  • Due to the nature of Phoenix Global Air Ambulance operations, the candidate must be
    willing to travel constantly around the world on patient rescue and transfer missions.

  • Occasionally, nurses may be required to be away from the main operations base for up to 7-10 days.

  • Applicants must be willing to conduct infectious disease transfer flights in accordance with World Health Organization (WHO) and Ministry of Health (MOH guidelines and protocols.
