PhD Scholarships

I have been teaching at Uganda Martyrs University for four and a half years and I would like to pursue a PhD in an education relation field. I have realized one thing, there are very few PhD scholarships in the field of education. How can one get an opportunity to pursue a PhD in education or related field?
